This is going to be the first ever episode for my newest series, Marketing Mate, which will be a regular thing from this week forward. So, for this episode, we are going to talk about a Question I’ve found on Quora.com. If you’re not familiar with Quora, this is a community site like your ol’ Yahoo Answers and Ask Jives, wherein you can post questions, problems, issues and get the public to provide solutions. It’s the biggest community today since Yahoo Answers and I personally love this site since I’ve got many of my followers from there.
The question goes: “Why the buzz with content marketing but not content strategy?”
While these two are no different processes from each other, both are relevant to ensure you get the right message across. Some marketers are obsessed with finding ways to market their content without even thinking if their content is right for their target audience.
Not all content can turn viral regardless of how much effort you exert in content marketing. If your content is a bit dull, even for your target audience, you might not get the results that you wanted. Here’s where content strategy comes into play.
